Why Tallow?
Natural and Bioavailable is really what it comes down to.
Tallow is full of nutrients that our skin craves when it’s dry. Made up primarily of triglycerides and fatty acids which are key components found in our bodies natural oil, sebum. It doesn't stop there though, tallow is packed with vitamins such as A, D and E that help repair, protect and soothe your skin.

This balm was created when I worked on a cattle ranch in Thurston County and has been something I make for my home and friends since then. Sharing the magic of bioavailable beef tallow is a passion. My skin struggled with mainstream moisturizers for years and tallow solved it all. Beef tallow is primarily made up of triglycerides and fatty acids which also make up over 55% of our bodies natural oil, sebum. Sage & Fern Studio tallow products use simple ingredients that leave your skin nourished and protected.
